Jesus Begins to Preach

From that time on Jesus began to preach,

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Journeying

Take some time to look through the first part of the gospels and ask these questions. What did Jesus preach? What happened when Jesus preached? What is the Kingdom of God? What about the message of Jesus was good news? What did it mean for people to repent? Take some time asking these questions. The people who were coming to see Jesus and listen to him were asking these questions. Read through the first few chapters and write the words that jump out from the story below. Try not to write full sentences. Just write or doodle the words and phrases as they come to mind as Jesus began to preach.
