Welcome to the Journey

Jesus invited people to follow him, be with him, and hang out with him. Many times, we miss the fun and adventure of following Jesus. We trade the real-life interaction with God in the flesh for a system of belief or a set of rules and principles to live by. Authentic living is found in Jesus. This is more than learning about Him. This is found in knowing Him and being known by Him.

This journal is your road map for the journey. You will be a witness to the miracles and healings of Jesus. You will learn from His teachings. You will be humbled at the cross and confounded at the empty tomb.  Even more, you will discover this Jesus who lived, died and was buried, rose, and is alive today. This journey is not just a trip down memory lane. This is an adventure where you will experience the wonder of his presence daily. We will see miracles and healings in our neighborhoods and in our day. How can I be sure? Look at this in Mark’s Gospel:

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name, they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Mark 16:15–18 (NIV84)
